The deeper they dig into the past, the closer they come to a killer.

Crime writer Shayne Reynolds is looking for the next book that’ll get her out of her parents’ basement and on track to rebuilding her life. She’s found it in Robert Anderson, a confessed murderer who’s out on parole. Something’s never added up about that case.

From the moment she sets foot in Dark Water, nothing goes as planned. Anderson’s family wants her to drop the story—especially surviving son Des. A man who ignites sizzling heat even as he stands firmly in her way.

Laboring under his father’s crushing legacy and his grandmother’s iron resolve to get rid of the nosy writer at any cost, Des struggles to save the self-destructive sister who once saved him. There’s something honest and forthright about Shayne, though, that tempts him to help her get to the truth. Even if it means double-crossing his powerful grandmother.

Despite their resolve to keep it strictly business, sexual sparks quickly set fire to tangled emotions. And threads of a fragile bond that someone with a vendetta could use to weave their death shroud…

Some families have dark pasts. They have secrets that they want to stay buried. For a family in a town called Dark Water, they have plenty to keep hidden. And some will kill for it to stay just that way.

Shayne Reynolds is a crime writer. She's received warnings, but she will stop at nothing to find the truth. She'll get the truth, one way or another. From mishaps to blunt threats, the unwelcome committee is in full swing for Shayne's arrival.

Des Anderson was a part of that fateful night, though he was young. He's nothing like his family. His grandmother has been making his life hell for years. Dark Water is the last place he wants to be. Despite who Shayne is to him, he's strangely attracted to this woman. He's not sure whether he should help her or get her out of there, but one thing is for sure, he doesn't want anyone hurting this woman.

Blood and Bone is a spine chilling romantic suspense. There are many twists and turns throughout this plot, so it leaves the reader guessing until the very end. The connection between Shayne and Des creates and outrage with other members of the family, bringing forth lots of conflict and tension. Ms. Brown does an amazing job with this story, keeping me interested right from the start, and held my attention until the very climatic ending that I never saw coming.

Readers, if you enjoy a romantic suspense that won't let you down, then don't wait! Get a copy of Blood and Bone today.
