Becoming the object of obsession can be deadly…
Brilliant songwriter, Alexandra Sinclair swore she’d never return to the predator-filled music industry. Yet her life takes an unexpected tailspin and Alex finds herself neck deep in the business once more. Unwittingly entangled in a world where mythological creatures of the night walk amongst unsuspecting humans, she becomes the target of a serial killer bent on exposing the darkest secret of the one man she can’t resist.

In a world where Vampyre hide in plain sight…
Ancient Vampyre, Cole Gunnerrson—lead singer for the mega-popular rock band, Stolen Innocence, and reluctant recruit for the Vampyre Task Force—must identify and neutralize a Rogue targeting the music industry. With single-minded determination, Cole decides Alex is the exact lyricist he needs to maintain his cover, and the only female he wants in his bed. When the elusive killer turns his focus on Alex, Cole must face the truth. He’s lost his Immortal heart to a Mortal female. Now Cole’s engaged in the deadliest battle of his life. Will he crack the killer’s bizarre message in time and save Alex before she becomes the next in a long line of innocent victims?

Mine is a sexy, sultry, unforgettable vampire novel that tingles in all the right places. Author Brenda Huber has crafted a tale that will ensnare the mind and enrapture the heart, ensuring those with a love of blood and fang won’t want to stop reading from start to finish.

When the story begins, you are introduced to Alexandra Sinclair. She’s a proud, sassy, and strong heroine; the victim of a wandering lover who learned the hard way about love. After pushing aside her creativity and ability to craft memorable songs and lyrics, she is stunned when the sexy musician and artist Cole Gunnerson expresses an interest in working with her. It takes time, but eventually she caves to his request to meet and work together. What happens next is a sizzling hot story that never relents. Cole is positively fantastic as a hero who tries to deny the complexities of his feelings while Alex is his ultimate equal. As their relationship unfurls, you’ll get a maelstrom of emotions and depth. He’s a Vampyre who doesn’t believe he’ll ever find the woman to complete him, and she’s a woman who is too afraid to stumble lest she find herself hurt once again. Of course, there is also a subplot that provides suspense and intrigue. You won’t know who is behind the murders of innocent human females until the end, and the mystery will keep you on the edge of your seat.

The writing is fantastic and the pace never relents. Mine isn’t a short story, so keeping a steady flow is essential. Ms. Huber manages to keep the reader’s attention while unraveling a fantastic story from start to finish. I couldn’t wait to see what happened next, and didn’t want to put the story down until I reached the end.

If you love a great vampire romance, be sure to check out Mine. I can’t wait to read more from Ms. Huber in the future.
