You'll never look at a cat the same way again...

Claudette Richards adores Fluffy, her cat. Little does she know how much he adores her in return, nor that he's secretly a man named Luca Doyle, who has chosen her for his life mate.

Framed for murder, Luca hides out in cat form while he hunts down the real killer, a battle that could reveal him to Claudette before he's ready. If it happens, will she match his passion or send him to the pound?

Luca Doyle, arrested for a crime he didn’t commit, shape shifts into a black cat in order to escape prison. Safely ensconced in Claudette Richards’ house as her pet cat, Fluffy, Luca is free to investigate the crime that has been laid at his feet. Little does Claudette know that her beloved feline companion is so much more than just a cat. While Luca detests the cat food and the horrid name of Fluffy, he won’t leave Claudette’s side – whether she knows it or not, she’s his mate. But how will she react when she finds out her pet cat is really a hot, virile man?

While this is a short story, the characters were nicely developed, with just enough background to make them likeable and enough imperfections to make them seem real; it’s easy to look through the eyes of Claudette and Luca. As you follow them on their action packed adventure of discovering one another and clearing Luca’s name, you will laugh out loud at some of the humorous incidents along the way.

The love scenes are spicy and nicely done, drawing you into the story and making you feel as if you’re a part of it. The action was well thought out, giving enough detail for the reader to draw the images in their minds, but not enough to leave nothing to the imagination. The author’s writing style was easy to follow and flowed nicely. The Feline Fugitive is definitely worth your time. I haven’t read anything of Ms. Bishop’s before, but I will definitely keep my eye out for her other stories.

The Feline Fugitive is full of humor, romance, action, and suspense – just what every good romance should have!
