Subject: Dr. Daniel Corben, Lieutenant Colonel, Medical Corps

Current status: Distracted by sexy, willing female!

Mission: Babysit visiting VIP to secure promotion

Obstacle: Taylor Milton. Gorgeous. Captivating. His ex!

When it's revealed to Daniel that Taylor Milton, whom he nearly proposed to after graduation, is his high-level visitor, he knows he's in trouble. Taylor's a flamboyant risk taker, where he's a cautious realist—it was the reason for their breakup!

Now, reunited, something else hasn't changed…their combustible sexual chemistry. In fact, it seems more intense, especially since Taylor is keen to play doctor. Tasked as her official escort, Daniel spends several wild nights keeping an intimate watch on her—until the powerful executive tries to pull rank on him in the bedroom!

Mix one Air Force doctor with his former flame and add a fresh round of sparks. What have you got? The Right Stuff.

Ms. Wilde’s novel mixes the excitement of the military with the honesty of a first love that never quite fizzled and you have The Right Stuff. Her characters, though rough around the edges, are loveable and easy for the reader to identify with. You want to step into Daniel’s shoes and help him figure out where his heart lies. The scenes are rich with details. I loved the scene where Taylor took the ride with the Thunderbirds. It felt like you rode along with her.

I also loved the theme that Taylor lived by: love means letting go, even if you get hurt. More people need to listen to this adage. You may not get what you want, but if you’re willing to bend and compromise, love won’t always leave.

The love scenes overflowed with passion, even if the characters wanted to deny their feelings. You couldn’t help but want them to work out their differences and stay together.

If you want a breezy read filled with excitement and sizzling passion, then The Right Stuff is the novel for you. I give this work 4 ½ books.
