How do you deal with someone you can't avoid and who makes it their business to constantly irk you? And how do you forgive yourself for getting involved with them in the first place?

How do you forgive yourself for surviving a fatal accident when deep inside, you believe you were the cause, and then someone unknown to you exploits that belief in order to keep you from discovering the truth?

Pam Harrington and Tom Jarrod shared a past that tore them apart fourteen years ago. Since then, they have separately struggled to right the individual wrongs they’d committed. Then an opportunity presents itself which could give them a second chance at love and a life together. But only if they can finally resolve the issues from their pasts.

Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct your paths. Proverbs 3:5-6

Armed with the book and a nightshirt, she opened the door. Then froze in terror. Taped to the large mirror above the sink, Pam saw what appeared to be the original newspaper article and photograph. There was no mistaking the headline. She recognized it before her brain registered the words:

Underneath the article, someone had written in red,

Several years earlier Pamela Harrington was in an auto accident. Severely injured, she survived although two others were killed, one of them her best friend. Blaming herself for the accident she vows then never to return to Middleton, until a top job position opens up in the new medical center. Returning long enough for an interview she meets her former love of her life Tom Jarrod. He wants her to stay but some one else wants her out of town. Can she let go of blaming herself and take the job or will she leave. Is this where God wants her to be. Did he send her here just to be terrorized by someone.

This book will grab you right from the very beginning. Pam arrives in town right at the time of a large explosion. Being a Doctor, right away she is in the midst of helping.

The characters in the book will get your attention right from the beginning and you just can’t not help wanting to see Tom and Pam make a second go of it. The only cog in the wheel is Tom’s ex wife Susan. She is pure evil and is bound to ruin any relationship between Tom and Pam.

This is definitely a well written book and will have you turning pages to find out what happens next , and has a great ending. With her strong belief in God , you will find yourself urging Pam to quit blaming herself and look forward to a new life with Tom.
