A rock and a hard place have nothing on Megan Hazley when she agrees to stay for her mother's wedding, less than a month away. Nicole, her mother, isn't Megan's only obstacle to getting the deed to her deceased father's home; her ex-boyfriend, Aiden Blake, is the best man. Time hasn’t lessened the spark between them, a spark that should have died the day she hitchhiked out of “Boondock” USA.
Megan must deal with the troubles she left behind 12 years ago and choose between the man she once loved and the life she has built for herself. Who said going home was easy?
Megan has spent the last twelve years staying as far away as she can: from her hometown and every one there. Aiden spent the same twelve years angry at the high school sweetheart who walked out with no explanation. Megan goes home to face the past at her mother's request and finds herself facing more than the issues she left behind with her mother.
This is a truly touching story about forgiveness and letting go; Ms. Blue has created a wonderful tale of love everlasting. Creatively written with wonderful description, the author was able to capture my attention and keep me happily moving forward. Full of memorable main and secondary characters, I found the story and plot very enjoyable
I would recommend this story to anyone looking for a good heartwarming story about moving on and letting go of old heartbreaks.
