Sir Nicholas has forgotten the allure of the night sky, until on the Eve of Christmas the North Star guides him to Mary's door. Now his greatest Christmas wish is to crash down the walls that have kept them apart and to have a second chance with the woman he loved and lost years before.

Christmas has always been a magical time for Mary, but never so much so as when a love she thinks lost to her forever makes his appearance at her door and steals kisses beneath the mistletoe.

Long separated by social intolerance, will Nicholas and Mary allow the spirit of Christmas to reunite their love?

"A Visit from Sir Nicholas" is a very short read about a gentleman returning home for the holidays and discovering a love he thought he had lost. Having been deceived by his scheming grandfather years earlier, Sir Nicholas and Mary were torn apart. On Christmas Eve, Sir Nicholas decides to follow the North Star and is pleasantly surprised to find it leads him directly to Mary’s doorstep. After years of separation, the two are finally reunited in what they feel can only be a Christmas miracle.

This was a short and sweet story, in fact, it was almost too short. I wish we could have learned more about Sir Nicholas and Mary and their relationship with one another. Despite this, I felt this was a great read for the holidays and I was touched by Sir Nicholas and Mary’s devotion to one another despite the distance and time that separated them.
