Holly Winters doesn't do Christmas. Not anymore anyway. Unfortunately, her new neighbor, Lake Carrington, does-with enough Christmas cheer to rival Santa himself. But, Holly soon discovers that behind the twinkling lights, the heartwarming displays, and the sexy man himself lies a pain so deep that it might-just might-melt her own hardened heart. Will Lake turn Mrs. Scrooge into Mrs. Clause afterall?

After having a bad experience last year on Christmas, Holly Winters has decided not to do Christmas anymore. So when her new next door neighbor, Lake Carrington, decorates every inch of his yard and home with Christmas d├ęcor, she is more than a little annoyed. But Holly soon learns that behind all his Christmas cheer is a pain he buries deep and as she learns more about her new neighbor, he helps her to see the true meaning of Christmas.

This was a very fast-paced story about a woman learning to love and believe again. I was fascinated by the couple and enjoyed the message of the story. My only complaint is that the story was too short. I would have liked to have seen more of Lake and Holly’s relationship, as I really liked the couple.
