Victoria Jansen, card carrying MENSA member, can write a book about Quantum Physics, but get her around a handsome man and Charlie Chaplin looks graceful compared to her. She's determined to break out of her shell--and she's going to start with the sexy plumber in her basement.

Erik Sanders doesn't need to be a rocket scientist to know that Victoria is trouble. The physicist has the mind of a computer and the body of a centerfold model; too bad she's also the prime suspect in his industrial espionage case. Working undercover as a plumber will get him the evidence he needs to close this case.

Once he realizes his sexy suspect is an innocent pawn, he must protect her until the real criminals are brought to justice. And as her bodyguard, Erik finds himself guarding her body more closely than he should. Suddenly scientific principals like chemistry and forces of nature are taking on a whole new meaning.

Victoria Jansen, child prodigy and nuclear physicist, is the most naïve and trusting lady ever, despite the fact that she is a genius. On a trip back from Mexico, when a lady approaches and gives her a flower because she is allergic to it, Victoria accepts without any consideration of danger. Only later does she come to the realization that the flower was an indication to somebody looking for a disc full of government technological research. Will Victoria be safe? And what about the plumber from the water company? He seems like an interesting and trustworthy sort…but Victoria has been burned before and she has no desire to be again.

Eric Sanders cannot believe that the accident-prone, absent-minded professor is the real culprit. After all, more than genius is required for corporate spying. Under the guise of the municipal water company, he enters her home to look for information. When Victoria comes to know the truth, will she forgive him? And can he keep her safe when danger comes in the form of the man wanting the information?

Codename: Romeo was an extremely interesting and exciting read. The reason I chose this novel was because of the title, which grabbed my attention immediately. And I must say that the whole story continued to keep my attention. Things move fairly quickly in this novel. And characters are developed with finesse. I was actually able to follow Victoria’s transformation from a shy, blushing woman into a bold and aggressive woman. All the loose ends are tied together very smoothly. The element of suspense and mystery adds to the romance of the novel and kept on the edge of my seat. I highly recommend this novel!
