Review: Christmas Mischief

Christmas Mischief
by Christine Columbus

What could be worse than driving down a county road on a cold, snowy December afternoon and getting a flat tire? Being locked out of your car by your exuberant dog, acting like a fool trying to get back in when a tall dark handsome stranger stops and then the man doesn't ask for your phone number.

This thoughtful, nicely developed short story is sure to get you in the holiday spirit.

Telling the story in first person made me feel like I had an immediate connection to Amber. Her emotions were right on her sleeve, which suited her character and the nature of the story. Tony is the perfect knight-in-shining-armor. He is polite, sweet, thoughtful and kind.

Altogether a great confection, this is an ideal story to curl up with and remember all that is good during the holidays.
