If you were given one wish, a chance to change a single event from your past, present, or future, would you?

When Dylan arrives home to reconcile with her father before the Grim Reaper comes to sweep him away, she is given that exact opportunity. But the gift of one wish doesn’t come without a clear warning: “Everything in this life has a consequence. What you choose today could alter what might already be.”

With so many options to choose from, Dylan has to do some major soul searching and only has three months to decide. Should she take the risk of a wish that might not actually bring her happiness or leave her life in the hands of fate?

If a fairy offered you one wish, what would you wish for? Dylan Davis has spent many years away from home making her business thrive. She left behind her youthful love and her dad, after a huge fight. When her father becomes ill, she gets on a plane to go home. On the plane, she meets an interesting woman named Fey. There’s something different about Fey. Will Dylan come across her again?

Cole Winters is the man she left behind. Sexy and charming, he now has a son. When Dylan arrives at her father’s ranch, she sees Cole’s son. Her heart sinks. Cole has moved on, it seems, but she finds she still loves him. She runs into Cole who’s taking care of her father’s horses. There’s sensuality between them that can’t be denied. She holds back then finds that Cole is not with the mother of his son, a woman who abandoned their child as a baby.

This is a short story, but the character development is done well enough so that a reader cares what happens to Cole and Dylan. There are things Dylan doesn’t know about her father, and her discovery adds depth to the story.

Cole wants Dylan back. Can he get her despite her continuing hesitation?

The story gets even more interesting when it takes a paranormal turn. A beautiful fairy visits Dylan and grants her one wish, but she warns her to consider it very carefully. She has three months to decide. Every wish has its consequences. Dylan wonders if she could see a preview of results.

This is a charming little story with great chemistry between the hero and heroine, and the dash of paranormal adds intrigue. Recommended as a fast read.
