Shyra leaves for work, but never arrives. Unfortunately, she’s the next victim of a would-be emperor. Pantheon is crass and lacking in compassion. Only his seed can determine the true empress. Will Shyra meet her demise like the others, or will Pantheon’s seed reveal the true empress?
Car breakdown. Loss of cellphone coverage. What’s a girl to do?
When businesswoman Shyra has car problems on her way to an important meeting, she asks for help from a man who stops. He takes her to his nearby mansion where she discovers he is from another planet. Pantheon, the stranger, is looking for women capable of breeding with the oversized males from his planet. Disgusted by his attitude Shyra tries to leave.
Shyra is a delightful person, a true hard headed businesswoman with a fun sense of the ridiculous. Pantheon I wasn’t sure about. His initial response to women made me dislike him. I know the book is short, but his change came far too rapidly for me. Shyra’s acceptance of him galloped along until the outcome became obvious due to the rapid pace of the book.
There are some hot, sexy scenes which underline the reason for Pantheon being on Earth. Confusion and mayhem occur when another of his race arrives. Shyra’s reaction to Pantheon and the newcomer is important to the plot which revolves around the sexual needs of Pantheon’s planet.
It could have (perhaps should have) been a longer story, but is still a nice story for those who like hot scenes. At the end of a book I like all the loose ends to be tied up. An Empress for Pantheon had all the questions answered and even threw in a little bit extra. Good read.
