Faith Jenkins has lost her faith in Christmas. Not only did she never celebrate Christmas as a child, but last year, a few days before the holiday, she was dumped by the man she thought was "The One". To save herself from further
heartache, she's vowed never to let another man into her heart.

Enter Jeremy Kitteridge, Faith's fun-loving neighbor, a man who adores Christmas and seems to adore Faith as well. His sexy smiles and obvious advances are not lost on her, but she's determined to keep her promise to herself, guarding her heart. Yet Jeremy is just as determined to show Faith the magic of Christmas come hell or high water!

When Jeremy finally gets her underneath the mistletoe, will he be able to slip under her armor and win her heart? Or will Faith be too afraid to take another chance on love?

Underneath the Mistletoe is short, light, and sparkles with the courting and mating antics of Faith Jenkins, and Jeremy Kitteridge. Faith is somewhat of a Scrooge about Christmas and love, while Jeremy, her neighbor, embraces Christmas and love with cheer. He is so handsome, sexy, and upbeat, Faith tries to be annoyed with him, but her heart refuses to heed her warnings.

Even though Faith has experienced some heartbreaking things in the past, she feels a little too sorry for herself to be a very appealing character at times, while Jeremy comes off as almost a stalker at times. But the love that drives Jeremy finds a way to balance things out and redeems both of them.

The love scenes sizzle and shimmer with a forever promise. One feels a sense of rightness and joy for Faith and Jeremy as they celebrate Christmas in an isolated cabin.

Rebecca Goings entertains with Underneath the Mistletoe and entices the reader away from the mundane world and into that special zone where new lovers rejoice in having found each other.
