He might be too good to be true...
Ben Walsh shouldn't be single. Handsome and wealthy, Ben is equally at home in Idaho where he grew up and in Manhattan where he's now an art dealer. Suave and successful with impeccable taste, he normally has women beating down his door. But the one woman he wants can't be convinced that he's for real...
She isn't sure if she has time for fairy tales...
Gina Reyez has fought for every bit of her success, and it's about time for things to start going her way. So when Ben makes a proposal that will allow her to take care of her family the way she wants to, she agrees. Besides, a guy this perfect would never be interested in her...right? By the time Gina figures out that she's read Ben all wrong, the arrangements are made, the papers are signed...but what exactly are they getting themselves into?
Yours for the Taking is a sizzling hot romantic romp that romance fans won’t want to miss. Author Robin Kaye has penned a novel that contains as much heart as it does heat, and the result is a book that will make you melt.
Ben is a hero that is utterly swoon-worthy. Educated, gorgeous, and full of charm, he can have any woman he wants. The trouble is, he doesn’t want one -- at least not long term. When he’s forced to take a wife or lose something extremely important to him, he turns to the one woman he never expects to fall for. Gina is absolutely not his type. Short where he prefers tall, brunette where he prefers blonde, she personifies everything he doesn’t want in a woman. Unfortunately for Ben, he soon discovers she’s far more than he ever imagined. Smart, sultry, successful, and sexy, Gina has worked long and hard to become a woman who is in control of her life, to the point that it’s almost stifling.
The dynamic between the two is what drives the story, especially as they slip between the sheets and discover a chemistry that is undeniable. I loved the dialogue between the two, as well as the sizzling hot scenes. Their differences work to bring them closer together and make Yours for the Taking impossible to put down. From the moment I flipped past the first page, I was hooked, and I didn’t stop reading until I reached the end. The writing is fantastic, the characters are wonderfully developed, and the conflicts that exist between the two are very real. There wasn’t a moment when I was bored. In fact, I flew through the book with nary a look at the clock. That is the sign I’ve found an author who will immediately be placed on my auto-buy. Trust me, Yours for the Taking and the writing style and voice of Ms. Kaye are that good.
I highly recommend this book. It has all of the elements romance enthusiasts look for when deciding what book to snuggle up with in their reading chair. Although this is the first book I’ve enjoyed by Ms. Kaye, it certainly will not be the last. Definitely give Yours for the Taking a chance. I guarantee you won’t be disappointed.
