Trent, a man on a mission to discover where he belongs, embarks on a spiritual journey. His spirit guide, to his dismay, is frisky feline Myrddin. During a ritual, the cat brings the soul searcher forward into Julie's world.

Julie is attracted to the stranger from the start, but his strange mannerisms and speech dictate she use caution, especially when she learns where he's from. A botched relationship, time travel, spiritual mumbo jumbo, it's almost too much for Julie to take.

Can Trent develop a plan to win her love and make her believe in fate before it's too late?

A cat normally brings in live mice and birds, lets them go at your feet and sits back with a feline grin and watches the sparks fly. Ms. Moss starts with the flying sparks and then brings in the cat who in turn, brings in the golden Adonis, Trent Whitetail VanAlder.

With the help of the cat, Trent and Julie meet across a beach-side fire while Julie follows instructions from her cousin on how to clear bad karma and to be open to the future. Ms Moss weaves the backstory into the present so fluently, you are barely aware of it happening.

The kitchen scene when Trent comes face to face with modern technology reminds us of what we take for granted. Ms. Moss offers her readers both spells and meditations.

A growing determination on Trent’s part to ensure he follows his life’s path with the partner of his heart is balanced by Julie’s questioning the timing of their meeting and her instant attraction. The author’s fluent writing brings the settings alive and has every character shining when they are ‘on stage’.

"For Julie" is a charming paranormal romance that will appeal to those who may not normally choose a paranormal story.
