Madison Lee thought she'd put her European vacation behind her, until the full moon turned her into a hairy beast. A year later she has come to grip with her new life, now her whole world is blown apart. The man who gave her a night of incredible passion and an uncontrollable urge to howl at the moon shows up in town with his sights on taking over her family's business.

Hot on his heels a stranger comes to town with more than the rustic scenery on his mind. He's a monster hunter out for Nicholi's blood and just maybe hers if he finds out her not so little secret. How is a Southern Deb supposed to deal with lovers, killers and the biggest Cotillion of the year all at the same time? Madison soon learns Where there's a Were, there's a way and it leads straight to love.

Take one small town, spoiled debutant, send her on a European trip, and toss in one worldly, handsome and extremely sexy werewolf. Toss in a society of fanatics determined to wipe werewolves off the face of the Earth, and that is when things really start to get, pardon the pun, hairy. This is the recipe for one sinfully delicious and hilarious romance.

Madison Eugenia Lee is the debutant with a difference. She came back from her tour of Europe with a new ability, one that makes her furry every full moon. She thinks she has kept it hidden, but most in the town actually know and just humor her. The economy of her small town is totally dependent on the textile factory that Madison’s family owns, and although she plays the flighty deb to perfection, she is also the brains behind the scenes.

The company is in dire need of modernization, and that is where Nicholi Grant comes in. A suave and debonair man, he is determined to help the Lee family. But Nicholi has a hidden agenda of his own: he is the wolf who caused Madison’s transformation a year ago, and he wants to see if she is a danger to him or to werewolves in general. Can Madison and Nicholi avoid the hunters, agree to the business arrangements for the plant, and discover what triggered the change in Madison? Will they fight their attraction, or can they find a happy solution for them both?

This book was the most fun to read. J. Morgan has written a new twist on the werewolf story, with romance and fun and lots of down home humor. Madison is the very image of the small town beauty queen debutant: self involved, smart mouthed and independent as all get out. She's confused when it's revealed that she has been fooling no one but herself about her werewolf side.

When Nicholi arrives, she doesn’t trust him, and he has to work very hard to convince her that he wants her as more than just a business partner. The danger that appears when the hunters try to kill Nicholi adds the right touch of suspense to the story, and the solutions they come up with work well within this story.

I loved this world, because it was real and believable. The characters are unique and wonderfully detailed, and I hope to read more in this marvelous setting. This was definitely a change of pace for me, and I have rarely enjoyed a story more. Be prepared for a surprise at the end-I didn’t see this coming at all.

If you are looking for a story to brighten your day and make you laugh out loud, this one will work quite nicely. I recommend this one for all of you who want lighthearted fun and romance with a touch of spicy romance.
