Ylana is dead. So what is she doing in a strange village on an even stranger world full of leather-clad warriors, slave to a handsome, dark-eyed master, on the eve of embarking on a dangerous quest for a powerful Orb, to save a village, avert a war, and rescue her own future?
Who would not enjoy waking up to an alpha male carrying you into another world especially if you are supposed to be dead? Brought over to a whole other world and a brand new beginning with a chance to start over. Who could say no to that?
Can Ylana accept her slave status and her master Ryall? Will she be able to live in this new world and learn to enjoy it? Ylana must help save her village and stop an impending war. With Ryall at her side they will fight for and even against each other until they can find peace.
This story has it all from romance to action and adventure. I was intrigued from the first chapter of this story. With Ylanas fiery spirit and Ryalls brooding nature it made for lots of fireworks between the two of them. The blossoming of the love they shared was beautiful to read. As they learned about each other and themselves Ryall and Ylana must deal with treachery and war. Dealing with things being thrown at them from every direction they must try and find their own way as well. It was interesting to see the many sides of Ryall from soft to hard, a cute scene with the children of the palace showing his soft side and many fighting scenes showing his hard side.
Orb World is full of action and adventure with a good dose of romance thrown in. Andrea Gale weaves a great story and immerses the reader into a wonderful world full of lush imagery. This book is a page-turner and not to be missed. The characters are all full of depth and emotions. You will be cheering on Ylana and Ryall hoping that they get their happy ever after. Of course I cannot leave out all the other players in this story. Everybody was great, but I just loved the character of Jermayo! He was a hoot with his friendly yet sarcastic banter. I firmly believe that this story will grab you and keep you to the very end.
