They say you can never go home again. Tyler Weston is hoping that's not true. Two years ago he thought he wanted freedom and to be as far away from Sweet Meadow, Texas as he could get. He left behind his family's ranch, his brothers and his childhood sweetheart, Beth Sampson. Now he's home for the holidays, but he's hoping to make it a permanent move. Will he be able to mend the hurts he's caused especially with Beth or has she grown up and gotten completely over him?

Beth Sampson thought her world was ending when Tyler left her. He didn't even have the decency to face her and break up, he just left with no word. Its taken her this long to even begin to think about living again and now he's back for the holidays. Her only defense is to pretend indifference until he leaves again. The holidays can't go by fast enough for her. She needs him out of sight before she makes a complete fool of herself. What kind of woman loves a man who leaves like that?

A cowboy returns home to face those he left behind, including his fiancée, in this touching read.

Tyler Weston hurt a lot of people when he left home almost two years ago, especially his childhood sweetheart and fiancée, Beth Sampson. Now he has returned and is determined to win Beth back as he has never gotten over her. But it may be too late as Beth seems to have moved on with her life.

Veternarian Beth Sampson was deeply hurt and affected by Tyler’s unexpected departure and is just as affected by his unexpected return. She is just starting to get her life back on track when he returns claiming to still love her. Heartbroken after his last disappearance, she is not sure she can trust or believe in his love again and is reluctant to renew the relationship. But she can’t deny her feelings or the deep love she has for Tyler.

Beth and Tyler have a roller coaster of a relationship, and there is nothing we can do but sit back and enjoy the ride. Having been in love with one another for their entire lives, they find that bond hard to ignore when reunited. But because of misunderstandings, doubts, fears, and past hurts Beth continues to push Tyler away each time it seems he has made progress. I became invested in this relationship and was soon just as frustrated as Tyler, but I could understand where Beth was coming from considering the past. However the two share a touching relationship and passion that cannot be denied and Tyler is nothing if not determined. Their love for one another is obvious and I couldn’t help but root for them to find happiness and to work things out.

As I read this wonderful story, I fell in love with its characters including Beth and Tyler’s large family. Raised together following a tragic accident, Beth, Tyler, and their respective siblings have formed a loving family whose concern and caring for one another is evident in all that they do. I really enjoyed the interactions and familial relationships of the story. Each character enhanced the story and I was quite curious about each of them and what will happen beyond the ending of this story.

With a touching relationship and great characters, The Cowboy Comes Home is a fabulous read that I loved!

Thanks so much for the fantastic review! I'm so glad you loved my characters as much as I did. Keep your eyes out for the third in this series, coming this summer "Trouble in Texas". Watch as the bad girl Charli Boyd wraps her finger (and every other part of her) around poor Dr. Grant Clark while Beth and Tyler are away on their honeymoon.
