All Sandra ever wanted was a simple life with some sense of normalcy--what she has is a home invasion gone terribly wrong, an old boyfriend hot on the prowl, and one very, very angry husband. Will this werewolf in hiding be able to prove she isn’t going to leave her husband while trying to protect him from the consequences of an unanticipated slaying?

Sandra, the heroine of "For Better or Worse," just wants to lead a normal life. The problem is that Sandra is a werewolf and she hasn’t been exactly honest about it with her husband and stepson. When her sexy ex, Kahne, comes back into her life, it causes major confusion. Emotional conflict runs rampant when happily married Sandra finds herself still feeling a primal attraction for her ex wolf mate.

As if that’s not enough, Sandra becomes the victim of a terrifying home invasion and attempted rape. The reader will root for the heroine as she ultimately handles the criminal in an extremely satisfying way!

While the story gets off to a slow start with a bit too much dialogue, the plot eventually pulls you into the action and sexual tension between Sandra and Kahne. There are no real sex scenes but lots of sexually suggestive innuendo.

The reader understands Sandra’s conflicts between her human and werewolf lifestyles and it is this conflict that makes her seem all the more likeable as a human. However, the author’s attempt at keeping her “wolf life” a secret from her husband often keeps the reader in the dark as well.

The author’s efforts to weave a paranormal intrigue are clever and substantial enough to sink your teeth into. If you’re looking for a quick read featuring sexy werewolves, you’ll enjoy "For Better or Worse."
