All Erica Peterson wants to do is pay off the mortgage on her bridal salon when a ghost appears in the salon. The disturbance the ghost causes attracts police detective Grant Stewart. Suspecting Erica is hiding something, he investigates her private life.

The ghost, who is wearing a Victorian-era wedding gown, has a history of violent encounters with owners of the building. She vows to stay until she has fulfilled her soul's purpose.

Erica, her staff, her clientele, and Grant suffer ghostly encounters. Erica is on the verge of losing everything: the salon, Grant, and the two-year-old child who has stolen her heart, To save all, she must travel through time to prevent a tragedy taking place both in 1894 and in present time.

Erica Peterson takes care of every tiny detail in the running of her upmarket bridal salon, Belle Brides. Business is booming - she might have to hire more staff. The only cloud on her horizon is the increasing frequency of strange happenings in the old Victorian mansion that houses her flourishing business. Something is wrong, something strange and supernatural that threatens the continued existence of Belle Brides. When Detective Grant Stewart gets involved in trying to solve the mystery, he manages only to multiply her problems. Now Erica not only has to deal with a ghost, she’s also falling in love. But the root of her business’ haunting, far in the past, threatens Grant’s life. They have to solve a hundred-year-old mystery if they are to avoid disaster, and time is running out.

In a world filled with poorly written, badly edited e-books, it’s a true pleasure to read those electronically published novels which are really good. Eternally His is definitely one of them. Though the story started slowly, it soon picked up pace. With skillful writing and clean, well-edited narrative, it was a pleasure to read. Hard-core paranormal fans might not find what they’re looking for in the novel. It reads like a contemporary, but the supernatural aspect is central to the story and the tag therefore well deserved. Well worth your time and money.
