Orchard Hill Residents – lock up your hearts!
Pansy Parker and Misty Green are rivals in romance. Each believes she is the town’s best matchmaker. Now, they’re going to settle the question for once and for all. They’re keeping track to see who can make the most matches in a year’s time.
No heart is safe in Orchard Hill – not even their own.
Artist Angel Marcell is on her own for the first time in her life. If only her brother would stop treating her like a child! He’s asked one of his college friends to watch over her while she’s in Orchard Hill visiting cousin, Misty Green. Jeff Bradley is working day and night to make his real estate business a success. He doesn’t have time to entertain his friend’s little sister – no matter how cute she is when she blushes. Besides when she’s around, his life turns into chaos and he starts longing for things that aren’t compatible with his business plan. When Angel stands in for a Valentine’s Day date, will he change his mind about what he wants?
Pansy Parker and Misty Green are arch rivals. They are both competing to be the best matchmaker of the year. They have made a bet that whoever makes the most number of matches in a year is the best matchmaker. In the second novel in this series, they continue their matchmaking rivalry as they try to pair up unsuspecting victims Angel Marcell and Jeff Bradley.
Angel Marcell, an artist by trade, is going to Orchard Hill to sell her graphics and art. Having never been on her own, she is excited about this opportunity and is looking forward to it. The only problem is that her older brother cannot seem to understand that she can look out for herself. In fact, he is so worried about her that he has enlisted former college buddy, Jeff Bradley to pick her up at the airport and look out for her!
Jeff Bradley is trying to establish a career in real estate and has no time to baby sit anyone. But since the request had come from one of his good friends, he agrees to check in on Angel once in a while. But soon he cannot take his mind off of her and they keep bumping into each other. Will Angel and Jeff realize they are made for each other? Will they let God lead their steps as they make decisions about their future?
"Entertaining Angel" was a short, sweet read that portrayed the concept that love happens at the least expected moments. I chose this book because Pansy and Misty’s rivalry intrigued me. Their rivalry is portrayed really well as they both try their own methods to bring the couple together. This story was fast paced from the very beginning with the characters changing and developing as the story progresses. I am definitely looking forward to the next installment in the Parker and Green competition and would recommend not only this story, but the entire series, to everyone!
